We are excited to share a new Direct Hire opportunity! We are helping a local manufacturer and supplier of electrical cables hire an Inside Sales Team Lead.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the growth of onsite sales teams, such as team leadership and development, performance reviews, sales strategy and execution, goal setting and collaboration.
We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Team lead with leadership experience in sales and customer service. The right candidate must be hard-working, with strong multi-tasking abilities and willing to learn the technical details about the products.
JOB DUTIES:
- Process RFQ and orders;
- Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships;
- Make cold calls;
- Generate sales with new leads and increase turnover with existing accounts;
- Hit and exceeds sales targets and customers quotas;
- Provide support to the Outside Sales Representatives, and assist management processing customers’ orders
- Present realistic forecasts and strategic business plans to the management team;
- Answer phone calls
- Convey messages, and monitor the emails flow
- Provide technical support to customers
- Data entry

REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a successful sales manager, preferably in an on-site office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify sales opportunities and drive effective sales strategies.
- Self-motivated and results-orientated
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Must have knowledge of metric system and foreign currency conversions
- Must be multi-tasking and able to prioritize,
- Must be proficient with computer and OFFICE package, in particular OUTLOOK and EXCEL,
- Proficient with CRM tools such as SAP or SALESFORCE
- Willingness to travel occasionally for tradeshows, customer visits, or other business needs
