INSIDE TRANSPORTATION SALES REPRESENTATIVE
As an Inside Sales Representative you will focus on expanding customer base by helping customers move their product in the most cost-effective way possible. You will have the opportunity to sell carrier’s services to the customer, but to also continually service those customers’ ever-growing transportation needs. Being team-centric, yet individually driven will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails
- Understand customer needs/requirements and provide them with top notch solutions
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Grow and develop accounts to their highest potential through strong customer relationships and referrals
- Partner with operations leaders to ensure your customers are provided with outstanding service
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments within the logistics industry
Requirements:

- Self-driven with a desire to succeed
- Ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Prior sales, operations or customer service experience preferred
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus
- 2 years experience or more in a sales role required
