Summary
Excited about understanding consumers/customers and why they do what they do? Our Insights Analyst assists in the design, execution, and analysis of a rich array of research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, to deepen our understanding of our clients’ target audiences. Our success comes from distilling and delivering research-driven insights to create tangible business momentum for our clients.
The Insights Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management of research projects to ensure they are completed accurately and on time. The Insights Analyst reports to the Director of Insights and can be involved in a project from the initial identification of objectives to the final presentation of results.

Being proactive, highly organized and having solid project management skills are also critical for success in this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project management
- Program and test research questionnaires
- Ensure fieldwork is progressing well and meeting quotas
- Identify and arranging location details for in-person qualitative research
- Set up discussion platforms for online qualitative research
- Identify potential issues in the fielding of projects and suggest solutions
- Data analysis and synthesis
- Generate cross tabulations and descriptive statistics to summarize data
- Analyze data tables and conducting significance testing when needed
- Create charts or other visual representations of results for client reports
- Conduct secondary data analyses using online sources
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Obtain outside supplier bids on future projects
- Manage project budgets, including estimates and projections
- Track and process monthly project billing, ensuring accuracy of invoices
- Qualitative research project management with support from the Director of Insights
- Define business issues, design research, determine costs and write proposals
- Write screeners and discussion guides
- Ensure recruiting is progressing well, meeting goals and timelines
- Moderate both live and online qualitative research
- Analyze findings to draw conclusions, concisely summarize and make actionable recommendations
- Quantitative research project management with support from the Director of Insights
- Define business issues, design research, determine costs and write proposals
- Write questionnaires and ensure the accuracy of programmed questionnaires
- Ensure fieldwork is progressing well, meeting goals and timelines
- Determine data needs in conjunction with the Senior Statistical Analyst
- Create impactful and easy to understand charts or other visuals
- Code open-ended responses on quantitative surveys, as needed
- Analyze data, concisely summarize findings, and make actionable recommendations
- Trends analysis and reporting
- Summarize and share consumer and cultural trends to help deepen agency understanding of our target audiences
Qualifications:
- Two to four years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing research, mass communications/advertising or psychology
- Knowledge of market research methodologies
- Experience uncovering insights from consumer survey data and translating them into marketing recommendations
- This position is a hybrid position. You must be able to be on-site Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday weekly
- Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
