Position Objective:
Our Installation Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliant, efficient, cost-effective, and timely new childcare center classroom and general K-Truck supported set ups.
Position is onsite in Lewisville, NC M-F 8:30am - 5:30pm
Position Responsibilities include:
- Research best travel method and equipment rental needs for each Kaplan Truck delivery.
- Evaluate order details to ensure expectations of the delivery plan are met.
- Plan and schedule labor and any additional resources as needed.
- Analyze and report profitability per delivery.
- Analyze installation for Kaplan truck issues and resolve challenges that may arise with Sales Team, Traffic, and Total Customer Care regarding timing, site prep and configuration issues.
- Utilize database, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office, Excel, Smartsheets and other software for reporting and administrative tasks.
Position Requirements include:
- Associate degree in business required with 1 year work experience in construction/building as a lead or planner required with demonstrated leadership skills.
- New Child Care Center installations experience a plus.
- Responsible for ensuring compliant, efficient, cost-effective, and timely new center classroom and general K-truck supported set ups.
- Working knowledge of general construction principles required.
- Minimum of 3 years logistical planning and working with freight carriers preferred.
- Strong customer service experience required with proven ability to alter communication style based on audience.
- Demonstrated ability in complex problem resolution and organizational skills are required.
- Requires professional interpersonal skills, excellent follow-up and oral/written communication skills.
- Must exhibit initiative and have the ability to handle multiple priorities with a focus on detail.
- Proficiency in analyzing order details and delivery needs and requirements.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- PC literate with advanced working knowledge of Excel/Word; PeopleSoft experience preferred.
- Must be team focused and flexible to business demands with proven ability to work effectively independently.
- Some overnight travel required.
