Job Description
The Installation Supervisor plans, coordinates, and assists in cabinet and stock control fixture installations for new and established accounts. The Installation Supervisor will also relocate and repair existing installations by coordinating with the Field Manager.
The Installation Supervisor is responsible for providing support to the Field Manager with merchandiser hiring and training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Trains merchandisers or crew members on all aspects of installations and revisions.
• Uses provided documents to determine the schedule for work and establish manpower requirements based on guidelines.
• Provides information on workload, number of revisions, and other information at Field Manager and District Manager’s request.
• Maintains ongoing communications with the Field Manager leading up to the project and, on the day of the installation, communicates any final instructions, questions, or last-minute changes.
• Ensures communication with store manager, security, or other appropriate store personnel upon entering the store.
• Follows established revision Best Practices, while also ensuring that all merchandisers or crew members are in accordance with store policies and procedures.
• Provides direct supervision to all merchandisers and crew members on site.
• Ensures each installation is set-up according to instructions and diagram.
• Oversee all aspects of the installation- fixtures, accessories, revisions, signage and product placement.
• Upon completion of installation or revision, completes the appropriate documentation.
• Keeps an inventory of the most used parts and accessories for set-ups.
• Maintains a set of tools to be used for installations.
• Submits weekly expense reports.
• Provides feedback on problems involving fixtures and/or their shipment through the established channels.
• Maintains a fully functioning, company-supplied vehicle. Makes arrangements for routine maintenance at prescribed intervals. AG assigned van is for business use only.
• Works with new and existing merchandisers in their assigned accounts to train Best Practice methods.
• Evaluates new merchandiser performance and identifies areas for additional training.
• Works with the Field Manager to identify existing merchandisers who need additional training.
• Collaborates with the Field Manager to interview new hire candidates, complete I-9 documentation, and complete on-the-job training tasks.
• Provide all other duties as assigned

The pay range is $59,000-89,000; actual base pay will determined by location and the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
Experience Required:
• The qualified candidate will have mechanical aptitude and prior supervisory experience
• Prior retail or merchandiser experience is preferred, but not required
• Experience training associates preferred, but not required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Able to travel throughout the work week.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Excel, familiar with the use of Power BI a bonus.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong time management skills, effective time management and communication skills, including the ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail and timely follow-up is essential
• Ability to read and understand diagrams
• Ability to utilize handheld tools
• Ability to efficiently delegate tasks.
• Must be a self-starter; compelled to take initiative on their own
• Ability to work independently and with others to achieve common goals
Work Environment:
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a retail environment
• Extensive travel within the assigned territory will be up to 70% of the time. Travel outside the territory will be required as needed.
• May require extensive time driving in a vehicle
• Will be required to travel overnight, by car and/or by plane.
• May be required to stand up to 8 hours a day, with breaks
• While completing projects, will regularly be required to carry, lift, push and/or move cartons or carts, merchandise, and fixture displays up to 60 pounds
• Regular use of a company approved safety box cutter and occasional use of basic hand tools, such as hammers and screw drivers is expected.
• Regularly required to stand, stoop, squat, and reach with hands and arms.
