Job Description
The Installation Supervisor oversees a part-time crew responsible for installing resets, building fixtures, managing store fixture moves, and conducting repairs for American Greetings’ retail partners. This role involves collaborating closely with Field Management to ensure all revised programs and customer initiatives are executed as intended. This position is vital to enhancing retail operations and ensuring the successful execution of American Greetings initiatives. As the Installation Supervisor for American Greetings, you are to fosters strong relationships with store management and personnel. Installation Supervisors are also responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, development, and overall management of part-time staff, typically overseeing 3-5 direct reports.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT TO END APPROXIMATELY 6/30/2025.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure all installations meet quality Best Practice Standards, safety regulations, budget constraints (travel & hours), and company policies
• Utilize workload scheduling applications to manage installation requests, revisions, and fixture-related issues.
• Track shipments using order tracking applications and coordinate with the American Greetings Transportation Department.
• Maintain regular communication with Field Management throughout the installation and remodel process to ensure retail excellence and adapt to any last-minute changes
• Analyze workload schedules to determine crew requirements and coordinate arrival times.
• Operate tools required for installations, revisions, and repairs.
• Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols, workload guidelines, and best practices.
• Hires, trains, evaluates, and maintains a team of part-time installation crew members to assist in installation and revisions. Develop the team by fostering effective communication, providing constructive feedback, offering mentorship, and ensuring accountability to successfully support installations and revisions.
• Review and analyze Power BI reports affecting the territory, focusing on capacity planning, budgeting, and shipment information.
• Submit weekly expense reports to direct manager for approval.
• Maintain a fully operational, company-provided vehicle, ensuring routine maintenance is conducted as required; the vehicle is strictly for business use.

• A fast-paced retail environment with an occasional heavy workload. Job may require working more than 40 hours per week at times. Frequent fixed deadlines.
• Daily travel and will require moderate overnight travel.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
Experience Required:
• The qualified candidate will have prior successful retail, merchandising, or customer service leadership experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and prior supervisory experience.
• Experience leading at least one successful major change initiative from concept to implementation.
