Job Summary:
The Institutional Consulting & Research Associate supports the senior members of Envestnet’s Investment Research and Institutional Consulting Teams with tasks necessary to complete their research responsibilities and client-facing duties. The Associate works with various team members to develop a basic understanding of the research process, quantitative and qualitative due diligence, and Envestnet’s business model.
Job Responsibilities:
- Report to the leader of the Institutional Consulting group and provide support across the Institutional Consulting and Research teams.
- Partner with internal Institutional Consultants and Investment Research Analysts to build quarterly client presentation materials
- Responsible for running several quarter-end reporting processes
- Coordinate quality control and issue resolution on client investment platform-related issues
- Assist with resolving ad hoc issues that emerge with client services
- Assist internal Consultant partners with short and long-term projects for clients, supporting the improvement of the service offering of the Institutional Consulting group
- Aid in the technical support and training for investment research application users
- Gather data from various sources, managing questionnaire outflow/inflow, and other tasks as assigned
- Assist the Investment Analysts in manager meetings, manager searches, and other special projects
- Actively participate in manager meetings, support other team members in searches, and eventually begin writing drafts of various research deliverables
- Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
- As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in wealth management or a related financial services field
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite

Salary:
The annual base salary range for this position is $52,000 to $78,000.
