About the Job
The Sales Liaison I performs the administrative and operational tasks necessary to facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of the Sales Representatives’ business; monitors, assists and records transactions; ensures that the office is properly equipped (supplies, technology, etc.) and functioning efficiently. This position partners with the Sales Representatives and Branch Office Coordinators. The work is entry-level and basic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Open and fully document all new accounts; maintain client information in Sales Force.
- Verify all assigned representatives transactions are properly billed in the BETA system.
- Confirm all earned commissions are credited appropriately.
- Track all transactions through the settlement process, assuring receipt or delivery of customer securities on settlement date.
- Provide basis customer support in the absence of Sales Representatives.
- Work with IT staff on systems and telephone issues.
- Communicate with building management regarding office space needs.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports for Sales Representatives.
- Interaction Reporting across all aggregators, such as One Access, Corp Axe, Commcise, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines by managing one's time and priorities.
- Continually strive to enhance product, system and processes knowledge by working with the senior-level associates during down time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum required: 1-3 years of related experience
LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS
- Minimum required: Series 7 & 63 within 6 months of employment
SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook
