Our direct end-client a large healthcare insurance provider is seeking to hire a Instructional Designer for 2 months plus contract role to work 100% Remote from any of the following five states – NJ, PA, DE, MD, NY | W2 only.
 
Job Details: Instructional Design I / eLearning Developer
Contract: 2 plus months, W2 only
Location: Can work 100% Remote from any of the following five states – NJ, PA, DE, MD, NY. Client is in Newark, NJ 07105
Pay rate: $38/HR - $44/HR W2 (Negotiable)
 
Job Summary: Responsible for designing and developing multi-media eLearning courses to support Enterprise Initiatives.
 
Important Notes-

• Experience in creating a E- Learning Course
• Previous Instructional Design Experience
• 3 years of Storyboarding
• 3-5 Years of E- Learning Writing
• Experience with Articulate Rise
• A good writer that is able to take content from multiple sources and create something smooth and coherent
• Comfortable Interacting with others to gather date
• Self Starter/ Self motivated,
• Excellent Communicator

Responsibilities:

• Use instructional design methodology (analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate) to create e-Learning programs for the Horizon Workforce that encompass video, exercises and assessments.
• Develop supplementary materials consisting of handouts, video tutorials, etc. in support of the training plan.
• Collaborate with SMEs and Compliance Training to gather source data, design expectations and feedback on storyboards/draft content.
• Participate in meetings with SMEs and Business Owners as necessary.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.

 
Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:

• APTD / CPTD from Association for Talent Development (ATD) helpful.

Work experience:

• 3-5 years working in instructional design and elearning development capacity.

 
Specialized knowledge/skills:

• Required - Experience in instructional design for eLearning, storyboarding, needs analysis, and writing for elearning design.
• Preferred – Video development using Vyond.
• Strongly Preferred – eLearning development using Articulate 360 (Storyline or Rise)
• Current industry trends, learning solution Best Practices, instructional writing style and techniques, web based design
