About the Job
Our client is looking for a skilled Instructional Designer to join their Ads Global Product Solutions team to help develop best-in-class Ads education for a new elearning platform.
As an instructional designer on this team, you will be responsible for all phases of course development including design, implementation, and evaluation of learning materials. You will produce robust and engaging courses, graphics, and learning experiences that will help sellers build the knowledge, skills and abilities they need to understand how to best leverage self-serve ads products to grow their business. As owner of the course-design process it will be your responsibility to continuously improve and manage all instructional course content, and ensure that it is kept up to date.
The ideal candidate is:
- Able to learn complex, sometimes technical, concepts quickly and translate them into simple and intuitive courses, video tutorials and guides.
- Experienced in evaluating the educational quality of training and providing executional feedback.
- Knowledgeable about learning theories and instructional design models.
- A self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced. environment, remain focused, and still hit deadlines amidst frequently changing requirements.
- Comfortable asking questions and tracking down answers.
- Proactive with an open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results.
- Comfortable working independently in a cross-functional team, including geographically dispersed partners.

responsibilities:
- Design engaging, informative, and compelling courses, keeping the end user in mind via Evolve authoring tool.
- Create supporting visual material/media (graphics, video, simulations, games etc).
- Develop and build relationships with key stakeholders in an effort to collaborate on skill gaps and learning priorities.
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to translate their knowledge into comprehensive learning solutions, including the definition of learning objectives, content flow, activities, and knowledge checks.
- Lead course development for feature updates; regularly assess and update learning materials, ensuring that they are consistent, up-to-date and in line with products releases and larger learning initiatives.
- Decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop comprehensive measurement strategies to assess content effectiveness and impact.
- Ensure and maintain a consistent learner experience and branding for both on-and off-platform learning initiatives.
- Communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form and deliver engaging presentations to business leaders.
