Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for an Onsite Instructor Developer to join our YGC team in Kennesaw, GA. The Onsite Instructor Developer will provide classroom and lab instructions to Dealer and Yamaha Employee staff. They will be responsible for Instructor led course development and maintenance as well as assistance with online course development. They will keep up to date with product technology as well as methods of training.

What you'll be doing:
- Deliver classroom and lab instruction (i.e., preparation, delivery, testing, grading, and reporting) to students using lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory workshop sessions, seminars, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects
- Develop curriculum and new training courses (i.e., research, write, test, and deliver). Research market needs and propose new courses when required to meet them.

- Assist in digital course development (i.e. Video assets, online course development and communication, training portal maintenance etc.)
- Facilitate course scheduling, student enrollment, certifications, and tracking
- Provide consultation services to government, business, or other organizations
- Supervise independent or group projects, field placements, laboratory work or hands-on training.
- Participate and/or collaborate with other instructors outside the business units
- Responsible for the development and upkeep of training material, minimal supervision or approval
- Responsible for leading and managing a classroom of students, discretion to manage each class as necessary.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 25% is required.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-7 years of experience in developing training material, delivering training, or similar.
- Expertise in academic area and use of technology in classroom.
- Must have a strong technical knowledge of motor and/or electric drive products.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook) and basic computer software/hardware knowledge is necessary.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Premier pro, and In Design is a plus.
- Knowledge of LMS (Learning Management Software) tools for student enrollment and tracking etc
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook) and basic computer software/hardware knowledge is necessary.
- Electrical/mechanical certifications preferred.
