About the Job
The Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a Full-time Instructor position. The position calls for a person who, through excellence in teaching is able to build and maintain the department's reputation nationally and internationally. The candidate should hold specialty training in Periodontics. Preference will be given to diplomates of the American Board of Periodontology.
This position is a 1-year contract, spanning July 1 through June 30 of a given year. The position renewable for reappointment at the end of the academic year.
The posting for this position will remain open until filled.
Candidates must be eligible for a Pennsylvania state dental license or a Restricted Pennsylvania state dental license. Preference will be given to diplomates of the American Board of Periodontology. This position will report to the Department Chair of Periodontics. Responsibilities will include predoctoral and postdoctoral clinical and didactic teaching.
