Instrumentation and Controls Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join the team with one of our partnering clients. This role involves developing control systems logic, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Job Posting: Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Salary: $95K - $130K+, based on experience and license status

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement instrumentation and controls logic.
• Interpret project documents and ensure regulatory compliance (CA Fire Code, NEC, NFPA).
• Work with AutoCAD and Revit for system layouts and schematics.
• Specify equipment and manage customer relationships.
• Oversee field installation, testing, and inspections.

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• EIT with ability to obtain CA PE license.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in control systems, troubleshooting, and AutoCAD.
• Low voltage experience and general load calculations.

Preferred:

• P.E. License.
• PLC and touch screen programming skills (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
