About the Job
- Primarily involved with overseeing the preparation and review of instrumentation and monitoring programs and reports from junior staff with a strong commitment to meeting project deadlines.
- Management of instrumentation engineering projects, which will consist of planning instrumentation programs, perform and aid in review of installations and data reduction, and preparing monitoring reports.
- Both prepare and oversee the preparation and review of instrumentation and monitoring proposals by junior staff.
- Oversee instrumentation and monitoring projects with daily report review and assist junior staff with resolution of issues and training of field staff.
- Host or attend project meetings with clients to follow up on delivered reports and provide technical solutions as necessary.
- Mentor, train, and develop junior-level staff.
- Collaborate with other managers to help make staffing decisions.
- Pursue new work and grow technical areas of expertise for the service line.
- Continue to learn new methods of implementation and industry practices and aid in adaptation of methods in delivery of services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
5+ years of related experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required.
