Job Title: Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Provide well-founded legal advice and strategies to clients on insurance-related matters.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
• Collaborate closely with clients, experts, and colleagues to formulate effective case strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and well-organized case files and documentation.
• Stay abreast of changes in insurance laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Mandatory admission to the Missouri bar, with preferred admission to the Kansas bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing insurance defense litigation.
• Profound knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
