About the Job
The Insurance Agent will be responsible for providing insurance solutions for new and existing customers. The Insurance Agent will need to ensure accurate verification of insurance to maintain customer retention, which will require them to implement skills and strategies learned through company provided training. Additionally, they will need to meet performance-based goals as established by management. In order to consistently maintain existing customer relationships and build new customer relationships duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide insurance solutions for new and existing customers.
- Participate in ongoing customer campaigns to provide insurance options
- Verify insurance coverage for dealership customers
- Provide customer service, including but not limited to helping customers with payment issues, providing necessary insurance information to customers, helping customers with filing insurance claims, and contacting customers for insurance renewals.
- Required to attend ongoing training as necessary to ensure knowledge of the most up-to-date internal policies, insurance product updates, and compliance with industry laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Obtain and maintain the proper licensure with the Florida Department of Financial Services (license not required at time of application)
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of computers and typing skills
- Customer Service oriented
- Proactive, Team Player, Problem Solver
- Professional appearance and good hygiene.
- English & Spanish fluency required
