Title: Assistant Account Coordinator – Commercial Lines
Position Location: Westlake Village, CA (Hybrid 2-3 days in office)
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm PT
Compensation: $27-$34/hour

What You Will Need to Succeed
- Highschool diploma.
- Possess and maintain a valid California Property and Casualty License.
- 3 years of experience working in the California Insurance Industry.
- Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 software
- Excellent customer service, listening, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated considerable tact and diplomacy, discretion and judgment to build and maintain personal relationships
- Conflict resolution skills, high moral ethics
- Superior written, verbal skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, following instructions and accepted practices to complete assignments.
- Demonstrated success in a customer service environment
- Ability to maintain a positive, courteous, supportive attitude and professional image with all employees, clients, and vendors
- Assist in daily servicing of assigned commercial book of business
- Faxing, filing, copying, editing, formatting, creating insurance related documents
- Binding documents & proposals, review contracts with insurance certificates via email
- Prepare and present documentation for approval-Certificates of insurance, loss history requests, coverage inquiries, bind orders
- Assist in renewal process for new and existing accounts
- Prepare confirmation of coverage, follow up with carriers
- Create & maintain database & spreadsheet files
- Attend meetings with clients/carriers
- Prepare, organize, manage timely, accurate task or suspense system that is viewable by supervisors
- Build a foundation of knowledge
