Job Description
We're seeking a pleasant and dedicated Insurance Customer Service & Sales Representative to join our team. As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, answering their questions, and helping them navigate their insurance policies while also recognizing opportunities to cross-sell our current clients. The ideal candidate will have an active Property and Casualty License, insurance knowledge, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to help others. In this role, you will have the opportunity to cross-sell our insurance products, update customer information, and work closely with your colleagues in a collaborative environment. The Hourly Wage is Based on Experience: $17 - $23 per hour ($35,360 - $47,840 per year). May make Up to $59,000+ per year (Hourly Wage + Bonuses + Performance + Experience)
Salary Range: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to create a loyal customer base.
- Help customers make the right decision when it comes to choosing an insurance plan that best fits their requirements and goals.
- In everyday operations, use computer systems to process premium payments, review and update policies, handle claims, and make endorsements.
- Continue to look for and recognize opportunities to cross-sell/account rounding.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of client interactions and transactions.
- Issue and distribute insurance documentation such as certificates of insurance (COI), ID cards, and policy endorsements.
- Tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations with empathy.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and follow established protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency REQUIRED. Associate degree/bachelor's degree is a BONUS
- California Property and Casualty License AND Life License REQUIRED.
- 2+ years of experience in insurance REQUIRED.
- 1+ years of demonstrated success in Sales (phone sales, real estate, banking, inside or outside sales, luxury retail sales, collection agencies, car sales, lenders, servers, bartenders)
- Can show demonstrated experience with Artificial intelligence.
- 1+ years of experience working in an office environment, using a multiline phone system, and utilizing computer software. Proficient typing/data entry skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
- Displays the highest level of technical and cognitive abilities to ensure accuracy and precision
