Insurance Defense Attorney
Our client, a highly respected law firm with a robust insurance defense practice, is seeking a skilled and driven Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their team in California. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented attorney to further their career in a hybrid work environment within a collaborative and forward-thinking legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including general liability, property damage, and personal injury claims.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence related to insurance litigation.
- Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and participate in trials.
- Provide strategic counsel and advocacy on behalf of insurance carriers and self-insured clients.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and insurance professionals to develop effective case strategies.
- Maintain regular client communication, providing updates and legal advice throughout case progression.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-7 years of insurance defense experience (civil litigation experience will also be considered).
- Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Orange County, California
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage complex litigation cases.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
