Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a varied caseload
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• 0-5 years’ experience in insurance defense
• JD from an accredited law school
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – with the ability to provide a writing sample

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage discovery in multiple litigated matters
• Collaborate with lead counsel and colleagues to devise defense strategies
• Prepare and review legal pleadings
• Conduct depositions and other discovery proceedings
• Perform legal research and analysis
• Maintain a consistent schedule of hearings, meetings and depositions
• Represent clients in court as needed
• Work collaboratively within a team, engaging with lead counsel, other attorneys, and support staff
• Prepare and argue motions in court, including summary judgment and discovery motions
• Work closely with clients to develop case strategies and provide regular updates on case progress
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
