Responsibilities
- Be outstanding at relationship building and provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls from the main switchboard
- In everyday operations, use computer systems to schedule appointments, process premium payments, and review and update policies.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and follow established protocols.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree is a BONUS.
- A Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License is required. Must obtain within 60 days of hire start.
- 1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant, receptionist, call center representative, or any related phone work. Insurance experience is a BONUS.
- Fundamental knowledge of computer software, data entry, typing, and using a multi-line phone system.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster teamwork and productivity while staying open to new ideas.
- Communicate professionally over the phone, in writing, and in person to promote a good work atmosphere and ensure effective communication.
