You will be responsible for servicing and expanding a book of business by servicing & selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients. Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with our clients to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Perform the essential duties of servicing a book of business, including new and renewal marketing and placement.
• Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
• Be the connection between the company, clients/prospects and the multiple insurance carriers represented by the company.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
• Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.

• Possess an active Connecticut Property & Casualty Producers License
• Life license preferred
• Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize
