About the Job
Job Responsibilities
+ Gathering, analyzing and presenting information on relevant markets to business development staff and managers.
+ Providing administrative support in marketing projects; tracking and preparing reports on marketing and sales data, focusing on key initiative dates and deadlines.
+ Answering routine inquiries and supplying marketing information as requested by customers and management.
+ Assisting in the creation and distribution of communication vehicles for customers and staff.
Job Qualifications
_Education_
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment
_Experience_
+ 3 years - Experience in the Health Insurance Industry
_SkillsCertifications_
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
+ Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
+ Demonstrated knowledge of contracts, products, networks, underwriting, billing, claims processing procedures and use of a broker distribution system.
+ Excellent database development and management skills (Access, Excel, etc.)
- Technical experience in database development and management highly preferred
- Technical experience using Excel and/or Access preferred
