Salary Range: $50000.00 - $90000.00 per year

Responsibilities

PROSPECT & NETWORK: Grow customer base and meet sales goals by generating new business through phone solicitation, in-person prospecting, mailings, referrals, and networking.

RESEARCH: Online research and investigation of prospect businesses.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING & ANALYSIS: Meet with prospective clients (on-site and off-site) to learn about their business and review their particular needs in order to determine the extent of coverage requirements.

COUNSEL & ASSIST: Counsel prospects and assist them in completion of applications, ensuring that all risks and exposures are represented.

QUOTE & PRESENT: Quote prospect businesses on various insurance company sites. Present proposals and final quotes to prospects, prior to closing sale.

DELEGATE: Connect insureds with assigned Account Representatives, while still maintaining contact when needed.

ADVISE: Assist existing clients with audits, policy changes, and coverage questions when requested.

CONTINUING EDUCATION: Once obtained, maintain insurance license by attending continuing education courses.

Business to Business sales experience in any industry is required. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
