The GEICO Local Office South Orlando is looking for energetic and competitive insurance sales agents who will prepare personalized insurance quotes, work our exclusive leads, cross-sell appropriate products, and close sales. No cold calling! The managing agent will provide consistent one-on-one training, coaching, and mentoring to help you meet sales goals and maximize your performance-based pay. This position does not have a maximum top end, the more you sell the more you make! As a GEICO Insurance Sales Agent, we will teach you how to listen to our customers, identify their needs, answer all of their questions, and overcome objections. Insurance experience not required.

Salary Range: $45000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities
What you would do in this role:

- Youll show our customers the value that comes with being a GEICO policyholder: preparing insurance quotes, advising customers on coverage, and converting quotes into new policies all without making a single cold call. And all while growing your career. Because when you grow, we grow. Simple as that. So if youd like to grow together, lets talk.
- You will be interacting with a large volume of clients in-person, but primarily on the phone.
Requirements
A successful candidate brings:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Florida 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License or equivalent (Have, or obtain within 20 days of hiring)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently
- Excellent grammar, computer, and typing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high customer volume environment
- Sales experience or desire to work in a competitive sales environment
- Highly motivated and self-driven, strong persuasion skills, excellent dependability
- Coachable, willing to learn a high volume of information, and willing to accept & learn from provided feedback
- Ability to consistently make 150+ outbound calls per day.
