Responsibilities
- Agency Ownership: Establish, grow, and manage your own Farmers Insurance agency.
- Sales & Business Development: Develop a book of business by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with individuals and businesses in the community.
- Client Consultations: Provide personalized insurance solutions, including auto, home, life, and business insurance products, tailored to meet your clients' needs.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and handling policy renewals.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and manage your own team of sales professionals and staff to support your agency's growth.
- **Marketing & Community Engagement:** Implement marketing strategies and participate in community outreach to build your brand and increase visibility.
- Insurance Expertise: Stay current on industry trends, insurance products, and Farmers Insurance offerings to ensure the best service for your clients.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-motivated with a strong desire to own and operate your own business.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development is preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills to grow and guide a team.
- Licensing: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary state insurance licenses (Farmers provides support and training).
- Financial: Basic understanding of financial statements, profit and loss management, and business operations
- Capitalization : In 2024, you must have access to $50k in liquid assets to fund the start of your agency. Capital requirements change to $100k, in 2025.
