Insurance Sales Representative (Multi-Line) - GEICO Local Office - Columbia

Our office has an immediate opening and we need someone who we can develop to fit in our sales team! Responsibilities

• Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate policies
• Quoting prices and financial options
• Educate clients on auto, home, and renter's insurance
• Identify cross-selling opportunities
• Develop and maintain a client base through prospecting and networking
• Build and maintain relationships with clients for retention and referrals
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Prior Sales Experience
• State Insurance License (REQUIRED)
• Competitive spirit and willingness to learn
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
• Up to 75% of your day may be on the phone, a high-energy personality and a love of working with people is a must.
• Strong computer skills to learn and work within multiple quoting systems
