Farmers Insurance The Harry Stout Agency is hiring a candidate to join our amazing team as part of our Agency Owner Development Program!
The Agency Owner Development Program, known as the Farmers Insurance Protg Program is a program designed for entrepreneurs who want a clear path to agency ownership with Farmers Insurance. This is a 6-12 month development program where you will work under an established, top-producing mentor agent and have access to training and resources to ensure your future success as an agency owner. Youll learn valuable tools that teach you how to sell, solicit, differentiate, and negotiate insurance plans. You will also have direct access to all of the training specialists in our district. From the very beginning, you will earn as you learn even if you dont have any previous insurance sales experience. If you have a willingness to learn, motivation to succeed, and an entrepreneurial spirit, we want to hear from you today! This program does not require financial assets and provides a base + commission structure.
Salary Range: $48000.00 - $60.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Present prospective customers with the best insurance policy options to meet their needs after assessing their individual circumstances and goals
- Make phone calls, write text messages, and send emails to increase sales revenue from potential customers
- Create new and continued business by uncovering opportunities to upsell and cross-sell financial products
- Hit the outlined business production objectives so the agency meets its overall financial goals
- Generate accurate insurance quotes by leveraging accurate data, customer information, and available insurance rates
- Handle customer inquiries
- Sell and solicit/provide information about the products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check is required
- One year minimum sales experience preferred
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
