Privately owned insurance agency is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager. The primary line of business is Property and Casualty, Commercial Lines. The Senior Account Manager role reflects greater experience and the ability to handle more complex accounts, as well as the expectation to assist and mentor more junior Account Managers.

Salary Range: $60000.00 - $70000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Be responsive to customer inquiries and requests, in order to foster new-business opportunities (including by identifying cross-selling opportunities), maintaining customer relationships and building customer loyalty.
• Provides quotes, proposals, and bind coverage as needed according to insurer guidelines.
• Reviews assigned policies to determine if additional coverages should be solicited prior to renewal.
• Conducts periodic service calls for designated customers.
• Is diligent when interacting with customers, and in processing all coverage modifications in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent E&O exposure.

• Currently possesses a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of computer office software; knowledge of Applied Tam a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Previous management skills a plus.
