RME Insurance is looking for an experienced insurance professional interested in joining our team as a full-time Customer Service Representative in our Flora, Indiana office. This position requires a Property & Casualty insurance license and at least 3+ years of experience working in a similar role within an insurance agency. In this position you will be assigned a book of business primarily made up of Small Commercial, Farm and Personal Insurance accounts to manage. Specifically, you would be responsible for managing the client relationship, providing customer service and support to these clients as well as quoting and presenting proposals of insurance to new customers that contact the agency looking for an insurance solution. Manage customer renewals
Process customer policy change requests.
Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
Complete Certificate of Insurance requests.
Return all phone messages promptly.
Generating insurance quotes.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Claims follow up calls.
Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
Provide on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices.
Attend training and continuing education courses.
Requirements
- 3+ years of insurance agency experience
- Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Experience with PL Rater or similar comparative rating software
- Ability to learn and work within our Agency Management System - Newton by Agency Systems
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Problem-Solving Capabilities.
- Responds to all customer inquiries within a specified timeframe.
- Be equipped with great listening skills.
