General Liability Habitational Real Estate Coverages: Apartments, Condominiums, Co-Ops, Hotels, Motels, Hospices, Assisted Living Facilities, etc. Activities: *** Build strong relationships with wholesale brokers and work to ensure continued business. *** Implement, execute, and manage the underwriting appetite, guidelines, referrals, and authorities. *** Underwrite risk utilizing claims history, financial status, and rate plans to determine coverage limits, pricing, conditions, and terms. *** Establish and promote underwriting best-practices to guide team members in profitable and sustainable underwriting activities. *** Provide guidance, leadership, and motivation to staff underwriters, training team members in novel techniques.
