**Candidates must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW**
Position Summary:
The Intake Assessor plays a crucial role in the organization by conducting initial assessments and evaluations of individuals seeking services. The primary responsibility of this position is to gather comprehensive information from clients, assess their needs, and determine appropriate next steps within the organization's service delivery framework.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Initiates and completes diagnostic assessments, intake evaluations, screeners and treatment plans
- Provide the professional expertise necessary to make determinations regarding patient program eligibility.
- Participate in child and adult case coordination meetings
- Identify and redirect high-risk or high acuity participant encounters with compliance and agency-based protocols
- Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisors, departmental case conferencing meetings and team meetings
- Collaborate with Quality & Insurance department
- Complete paneling to all insurances needed for Hillcrest consumers
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work, Psychology or related discipline is required.
- Must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience at graduate level or full licensure
- Must have liability insurance
