Job Description
The overall purpose of this position is to keep the shop and yard clean and free of debris, assist with the intake, inspection, diagnosis, cleaning/servicing, and repair of roll off Frac Tanks, along with other environmental containment tanks coming in from field service.
Responsibilities:
- Keep yard and shop areas picked up and free of debris that doesn’t belong
- Intake roll off Frac tanks and boxes for servicing
- Inspect tanks for damage
- Input information into computer
- Repair damage by welding damaged areas, or other type of repair
- Change out gaskets when needed
- Inspect rubber liner that is removed from tank and check for holes, tears, or any other blemishes that will allow the liner to leak
- Bring issues to the supervisor
- Hydro test open tanks by filling with water, checking for leaks, repair leaking areas, drain water
- Service tanks
Requirements:
- Must be able to weld and repair metal roll-off tanks
- Stick and some MIG welding
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to work alone or as a team
- Must be able to show up for work on a consistent basis
- Take initiative every day to get the job done
- Must have a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE – when hired perm, this position will be going to other locations (local Texas) to assist when needed. Will drive company vehicles and be sent out to remote locations and jobs
- Operate a forklift
- Must be able to work on feet most of the day
- The ability to drive a 5-speed manual transmission is PREFERRED (mainly to move or stage a vehicle when needed)
- Must know at least basic tools and how to use them
- Must know how to read a tape measurer to the 16th of an inch
- This position requires a strong mechanical ability
- Must be able to pass a DISA background check when hired full time
- Will eventually talk to and work with customers in the field when full time
- Be able to think on your feet
- Communicate when questions arise

Days: Monday through Friday (could work weekends as needed - be available)
Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (could work over scheduled stop time)
(Currently working 50-55 hrs. a week)
