What You'll Do:

The Intake Specialist plays a critical role in the initial processing of incoming items, ensuring they are sorted, organized, and prepared for cleaning according to departmental requirements. This position involves sorting through "dirty" work, organizing items by cleaning department, photographing items, entering them into textile solutions, and affixing barcodes. Additionally, the Intake Specialist will assist other stations within the production facility as needed to meet production demands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort through incoming items to identify those requiring cleaning, organizing them by designated cleaning department.
• Capture photographs of items to document their condition prior to cleaning, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Enter item details into textile solutions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Attach barcodes to items for tracking purposes, ensuring proper identification throughout the cleaning process.
• Place items into designated containers or cubbies once processing is complete, ensuring they are ready for cleaning.
• Conduct visual inspections of items to identify any damage or issues that may require special attention or handling.
• Provide assistance to other stations within the production facility as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication within the production facility.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
• Properly maintain and clean equipment used in the intake process to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
