Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT) Job Description:
The Integrated Product Team Lead will lead others and direct phases of cross-organizational projects with oversight and management responsibility for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of our organizational goals and objectives. This position requires leading a team of multi-discipline engineers, providing technical and execution oversight, and managing multiple projects for a program. In this role you You will need to demonstrate proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards) and will be required to maintain performance management and associated reporting.
Primary Qualifications:
- Experience working with high reliability electronics
- Experience in a production environment
- Experience working within integrated development environments
- Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) using EVM (earned value management)
- Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrate IPTL experience showing the ability to collaborate with program office, cross-functional teams, and internal/external customers.
- Strong influential communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present analytic and performance results from program to functional leadership.
- Experience in small/medium program execution
- Demonstrate understanding of engineering development, transition to production, production, and maintenance.
- Experience with proposal capture and contract processes from receipt of RFP, preparing Basis of Estimates, proposal submittal, preparing Statements of Work, contract startup and contract close-out.
- Experience with all the functionalities of Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT).
- Agile Methodologies understanding.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years' prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 5 years of experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with EVMS and Program Management
- Leads planning efforts to determine impacts and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement and program initiatives
- Coordinates with programs and capabilities to optimize unit hardware production pipelines and deliveries.
- Defines required resources from space electronics engineering, operations, and supplier management to build cross functional unit level teams necessary to execute electronic units design, development, and delivery.
- Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
- Experience with budget, schedule, Estimate at Complete (EAC) process, and financial performance report generation with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering programs.
- Budget Change Request (BCR) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation for Test Systems Engineering programs.
