This Serco position supports the PM PNT’s product support services requirement for logistics engineering support services, installation, and repair, and field support (e.g., training, new equipment fielding, and property support; and Field Service Representatives, etc.) for new or existing hardware and software products. You will be part of a team that collaborates closely with the customer and other team members to deliver quality support.
In this role you will:
+ Lead designs, development, and integration of complex electrical/electronic engineering projects, including, but not limited to integration and installation of systems into host platforms and clients
+ Lead resolutions of systemic issues, testing, or measurements within a DoD environment
+ Review and approve engineering documentation
+ Serve as lead engineering representative for the ALTNAV Program Obsolescence Management Working Group and other collaborative groups
+ Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
+ Master’s from an accredited academic institution in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field
+ 15+ years’ experience designing, developing, and integrating electrical and or electronic systems related to the job description stated above.
+ 10+ years’ experience as an engineer within the DoD environment
+ Experience with integrating and installing systems into host platforms
+ Experience with Obsolescence Management.
+ Experience communicating with senior leaders
+ Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
+ Familiarity with Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) and Supply Support Activity (SSA) organizations.
+ Must have a current and active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
+ Must have reliable transportation to the customer site.
+ Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Desired Requirements:
+ Military Educational Level (MEL) – 4, Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) equivalent.
+ Current Professional Engineering (PE) certification.
