Position Summary:
The Integrations Analyst is tasked primarily with supporting and coordinating the operational needs of the various systems and services delivered by the integrations/interoperability team. This role plays a key part in supporting Health Information Exchange (HIE)/Health Data Utility (HDU) participants and other clients the organization provides product and services. This role involves critical thinking, problem solving, documentation, technical implementation, communication, scheduling, vendor coordination, project meetings, and maintenance of various integration systems. The work includes data collection, data validation, and data reporting related to existing and anticipated connections with participants, clients, and government entities, as well as active engagement in technical implementations and planning. Security and privacy are vital in the work performed, as it will commonly involve access to and reviews of electronic personal health information (ePHI) in the forms of HL7, CCDA, SQL, and other data formats.
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical documentation for participant interfaces, connections, data transforms, and other areas related to participants.
- Participate in kick-off and project integration calls for participants and external parties.
- Utilize critical thinking, problem solving skills to research, identify and propose solutions to technical and/or data related barriers of interoperability specifications.
- Coordinate and schedule both internal and external meetings and follow-up as necessary. At times, facilitate project meetings.
- Provide and serve as initial support for participant connectivity or data issues.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate subject matter experts within the team and/or across the organization.
- Communicate professionally with participants, vendors, vendor partners, and government entities related to ongoing implementations and operational needs.
- Conduct data validation and testing as part of integration activities, upgrades, and other changes to the integration/interoperability infrastructure.
- Generate reports and documentation for consumption by participants, vendors, business partners, and key government entities as needed.
- Optimize using the project management (Jira) and CRM (SalesForce) systems for day-to-day research and management of tasks.
- Work and collaborate with team within both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Assist with employees and contractors on how to properly use all systems, including writing training materials and tools utilized within daily work.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement or automation that improve the ability to deliver services both internally and externally.
- Follow internal operational procedures and processes related to change control.
- Resolve and troubleshoot system issues across the CyncHealth environments.
- Participate in analysis and design of business process, training development, and deployment planning.
- Track time against projects and job codes for tracking billing and expenses.
- Interact with staff across the organization to complete project activities and deliverables.

Experience/Requirements:
- Associate degree in computer science, engineering, database administration or related field required.
- A minimum of two years proven experience in a similar role
- One year experience in healthcare IT preferred.
- Integration Engine experience strongly preferred (i.e., Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Ensemble, etc.)
- Knowledge of HIE/HDU models and the technologies used for data exchange architecture preferred.
- Working knowledge of HL7. FHIR API, and CCD integration preferred.
- Project management skills preferred.

- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and direction.

- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Light work requiring exertion up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to work from La Vista, NE office with reliable and predictable attendance.
