Job Description:Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a Enhanced Protection Services - OPS: Intelligence Analyst. The Intelligence Analyst is a vital part of the SOACC Research and Event Monitoring (REM) Program which monitors, tracks, and reports on intelligence and media sources on an ongoing basis for events of significance, loosely defined as events that have the potential to or are impacting high profile customer facilities, operations, or employees. The information gathered and reporting produced by this program is used to ensure situational awareness around the event/incident or to communicate operational impact to senior leadership and core business partners.
PAY RATE: $28.00 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for issuing crisis reporting on incidents or events that impact or could impact customer employees, operations, or assets
- Triage and verify real-time incidents globally against an internal trigger matrix to determine if reporting is necessary
- Write concise and accurate reports for distribution within short timeframes
- Work closely with regional Intelligence Analysts and other lines of business partners for additional information gathering, vetting, and review
- Support the Intelligence and Analysis Team with other routine or ad-hoc requirements as directed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/ Law Enforcement Technology, Political Science
- Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice/ Law Enforcement Technology, Political Science with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the intelligence field with proven ability to handle multiple projects
- High School diploma with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the intelligence field with proven ability to handle multiple projects
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in the intelligence field with proven ability to handle multiple projects
- Work history must include each of the following:
- Demonstrated experience delivering professional products and reports
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience conducting thorough Internet-based research
- Experience with social media networks/networking tools and open-source research
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to apply critical thinking and respond quickly during active crisis events
- Ability to write, communicate, and present to all levels of clients and internal staff
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments
- Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Exceptionally driven and possessive of a demonstrated reputation for providing high-quality work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Law enforcement
- Military
- Journalism
- Education (e.g., teacher)
