Summary You will serve as an Identity Data Management (IdM) Specialist on the Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA) staff with responsibilities for supporting the oversight, management, and staffing of all IdM activities under the authority, direction, and control of OPNAV N2N6. This position is located in Suitland, MD in the NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY. Responsibilities You will serve as an Identity Data Management (IdM) Specialist and as such accomplish/manage very complex projects, programs, or assignments. You will coordinate with supported Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD customers to formulate effective IdM requirements for operational mission accomplishment. You will develop, promulgate, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, controls, and restrictions of the use of IdM. You will construct effective mission plans, due diligence assessments, and acquire appropriate tools to support validated requirements thus ensuring their viability, feasibility, and supportability. You will ensure all IdM operations and program are streamlined, efficient, and in compliance with DoD and Navy directives by providing guidance, oversight, and evaluation You will assist in the modernization efforts of the Navy’s IdM program in accordance with Secretary of Defense and Department of Navy guidance. You will assist in conducting and processing service equity reviews of other DoD components’ plans and ensure staffing to Naval Intelligence Activity leadership occurs in an expeditious manner. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as the following: 1) Conducting operational and technical reviews of all current and proposed signature reduction activities, and staying abreast of all DoD signature reduction and intelligence related policies, instructions, and regulations to ensure Navy equities are accounted for and protected; 2) Drafting signature reduction plans, due diligence assessments, and service equity reviews in accordance with organizational standards; 3) Supporting formal inspections of Navy units involved in signature reduction activities to ensure compliance with DoD and SECNAV policy; 4) Preparing executive level correspondence for organizational leadership on Signature Reduction issues, and transmitting any relevant information to subordinate commands.
