Interim Director of Accounting Operations
Our client, a financial technology company, is seeking an Interim Director of Accounting Operations. This hybrid role requires presence in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The consultant will fill in for the current Director of Accounting Operations during maternity leave, managing areas such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Payroll. The company uses Intacct and is in the process of implementing Oracle. This role involves working cross-functionally with various business areas and managing high volumes of billings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Procure to Pay: 1 Manager and two analysts.
- Oversee Order to Cash: team of 3.
- Supervise Payroll: 2 consultants.
- Work cross-functionally with most areas of the business.
- Handle high volumes of billings.
- Assist in the process of outsourcing part of the accounting function to a managed services provider.
Requirements:
- Experience in Accounting Operations, including managing Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Payroll.
- Experience working at a global company.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with a managed services provider for accounting operations (preferred but not required).
- Experience with Oracle or Intacct (preferred but not required).
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $100 - $115 per hour.
