Our HR Consulting Division is seeking an Interim HR Consultant. This is a full-time Interim opportunity that is located in Macedon, NY. The assignment will be approximately five months. POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, the Consultant will be responsible for carrying out administrative duties and providing holistic support across the client's HR Department which includes People Operations, Programs, Talent, Employee Experience, and remote manufacturing sites. The Consultant will serve as the first point of contact for employees who have Benefits, Health & Wellness, HRIS, Leave of Absence, and system (ADP) related questions). The Consultant will be the primary administrator of the HRIS system, ADP Workforce Now. Duties include data entry, record changes, leaves of absence, transfers, compensation changes, new hires and terminations, and statutory reportion (EEO-1 and Vets-100).
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Current knowledge, experience, and practical application of State and Federal employment law.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to research, analyze and make recommendations.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a readiness to jump in and contribute.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and/or payroll system(s), and ADP experience.
- Availability during typical business hours, Monday - Friday.
- PHR/SHRM-CP Certification or other related certifications desired.
- An associate's degree is required.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in human resources support including data entry and management of HRIS, ATS and payroll systems (such as ADP, SAP, PeopleSoft, Paychex) is required. Experience being involved with payroll and therefore understanding all the facets of HRIS data management which feed into a successful payroll process.
- Intermediate-level experience with MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel.
- Experience performing reception and front desk activities a plus.
