Interim Lab Director -California - MRINetwork Jobs

Reid & Associates has been engaged by a California hospital to assist in their search for a Laboratory Services Director for an Interim or contract role lasting 3-4 months and with the option to extend.  

In addition to salary this contract role will include temp housing and reimbursed travel.

The Director of Laboratory Services will handle the day to day operations of the Lab and make recommendations to the Chief Operating Officer improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications Desired:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field from an accredited institution required
• California Lab Scientist license 
• Current registration with the ASCP and/or equivalent accrediting agency
• Must have experience with regulatory and accreditation of laboratory operations, preferably CLIA, CAP, and AABB
• Prior acute care hospital Laboratory supervisor experience required
