Will serve as an Interim Travel Nursing leader with the potential to serve various Ascension hospitals. This is a short-term assignment, 3-6 months, with the possibility to extend.

Responsibilities
Manage activities, workflow and resources of assigned nursing travelers.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for their assigned team.
+ Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned team. Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services.
+ Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve and monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
+ Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
+ Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
Additional Preferences
+ Local and national travel options are available dependent on need. Candidates are stipend eligible for sites over 50+ miles from their permanent residence. Partner with Recruitment to learn more.
