About the Job
Our Vaco team is partnering with a local healthcare client on an interim Senior Accountant position. This role will provide additional bandwidth to the team in support of various GL accounting related duties (journal entries, reconciliations).
This is a hybrid position, but open to fully remote for the right candidate.
Candidates that meet these minimum qualifications will be considered:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or similar
- Must bring 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably having worked within a healthcare organization
- Demonstrated experience with a large ERP such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or Oracle
- Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
- Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports
- Reviewing and explaining variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
