Interim Senior Accountant

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly journal entries
Review all invoices for appropriate General Ledger coding
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
Assist with preparation and coordination of the external audit process
Train new employees on the accounts payable system
Act as a liaison between Finance and vendors/operating companies
Other responsibilities as delegated
Requirements for the Senior Accountant:Concur and NetSuite experience preferred
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, regulations and best practices
Must be proactive, have strong attention to detail and have strong organizational skills
The Senior Accountant must have strong MS Excel experience

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
