Interim Senior Accountant - Warbird Consulting Partners

Warbird Healthcare Advisors actively seeks experienced consultants to be considered for an Interim Senior Accountant role with a healthcare system in the Maine. The successful candidate will perform general accounting functions/processes including executing assigned month-end close process responsibilities, prepare financial statements, journal entries and assist with the application of GAAP to all transactions, where applicable.

Location: Maine

Duration: 6-12 months

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform accounting functions consisting of balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and income statements
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses and reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and compliance reporting
• Assisting in month-end close of General Ledger
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• 3+ years of related job experience in an acute care setting
• Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Access, and Word
