As the business grows, we are seeking a smart, creative, and skilled individual to join our talented team! We are looking for an Interior Designer to support the Expansion Department and contribute to the overall design and roll-out of KREWE’s innovative retail concepts. Collaborating with Creative Director and Expansion Leadership, this position will create store layouts and design solutions to uphold and elevate the KREWE Guest Shopping Experience. The ideal candidate is a floor planning/drawing wizard with a relentless attention to detail and passion for problem solving. Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of materials, sourcing & procurement, lighting and overall best practices in interior design. Project types include both new and existing stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create store layouts, schematics and concept design
- Create and assist with material sourcing/procurement, costing and sample selection for new projects, and storage strategies
- Participates in the development, scheduling, and rollout of all new stores
- Works closely with Accounts Payable to process all invoices and ensure vendors are being paid in a timely manner
- Provides finish, hardware, lighting and appliance schedules for all new stores
- Coordinates FF&E specifications and vendor installs
- Assists VP of Expansion with essential administrative and day to day functions
- Create and maintain a library of design samples, files, and vendor lists
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in interior design
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of construction, architectural and store planning terminology
- Working knowledge of store and field operations
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
- Highly organized and proactive in creating and maintaining processes and systems
- Result driven, detail oriented individual, with an ability to work independently in a high-performance environment
- Focus on delivering individual goals that ladder up to overall company goals
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision
- Out of the box thinker who can find solutions in ambiguity
- Experience in Google Drive Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
