Our client is a full-service engineering & management firm providing professional engineering, program management, construction management, construction inspection, and design-build services primarily to public sector clients and agencies. Since the firm’s inception, they have been involved in some of the largest infrastructure improvement projects in Florida and New York. Professional staff have experience in Program/Construction Management; Pre-construction Services; Project Controls; Scheduling; Estimating; Land Development; Civil & Transportation Engineering; Structural, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering; and Digital Technology Integration. Description:
Our client is actively seeking two Inspectors with over five years of experience for various infrastructure projects in New Jersey. Candidates must have strong infrastructure, bridge, highway, and pavement construction inspection experience with local NJ agencies like NJDOT, NJTA, Client, and the PANYNJ.

Responsibilities:

• Construction inspection and supervision of bridge and highway contractors according to the contract documents and state specifications.
• Review design and bidding documents.
• Supervise construction progress and scheduling.
• Review plans, shop drawings, field measurements, daily quantities, and construction safety.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering.
• MINIMUM of five years of related experience in similar projects and environments.
• Relevant agency experience. MUST have experience with the NJTA.
• NICET certification preferable; NICET II, III, or IV.
• Knowledge and experience in performing construction inspection services on highway and bridge-related projects, construction site safety standards, and agency procedures.
• TCC, NJSAT, ACI Grade I, ACI-CCTC, NACE, SSPC certifications are all highly desirable.

Education:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably a Civil Engineering degree.
