Innovative thinking is the key to all provided services including mechanical and electrical engineering, fire protection, mission critical, cabling infrastructure, security systems, energy modeling, commissioning, and LEED consultation.
Job Description:
Excellent position for a Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s growing Healthcare and Life Sciences team. There is an urgent need for a talented and highly motivated engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for Healthcare & Life Sciences projects. HYBRID work environment!
Requirements and responsibilities:
- 7+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, responsible for design and engineering of HVAC, and related equipment associated with building design and renovation, particularly in hospitals and healthcare.
- Knowledge of healthcare code compliance requirements and industry standards.
- Understanding of pressure relationships for healthcare occupancies.
- MUST have experience in healthcare, hospitals, and life sciences projects ONLY!
- Proficient in the use of Trane Trace 700, pressure differential tables, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Excellent technical skills; strong communications, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team environment.
- EIT or PE is preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
- LEED Accreditation could be a big plus.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university.
