Intermediate Procurement Coordinator - Land O'Lakes Inc.

Responsible for all indirect purchasing using Ariba business application along with purchasing all MRO spare parts using Catalyst business application.

Location: Tulare, CA

Shift: 8am - 5pm M-F

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/HR (Based on experience)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Self-Motivated and a self-starter
  
• Strong computer skills
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
• Understanding of Accounts Payable and finance chart of accounts
  
• Solid organizational skills and ability to set priorities
  
• Good verbal and written communication skills
  

Responsibilities :

• Create requisitions for all approved indirect purchase requests in Ariba. Includes processing quotes from suppliers.
• Manage invoice exceptions in Ariba.
• Review weekly consumable inventory counts and create requisitions for all warehouse consumable items, maintaining min/max levels.
• Review weekly Video Jet ink inventories and order accordingly.
• Review and manage PPE/safety/cleaning supplies inventories and order accordingly.
• Work with Fastenal, Nelson Jameson, and Total Filtration on VMI's (Vendor Managed Inventories).
• Manage pallet inventory in conjunction with warehouse foreman and place monthly PO's.
• Update PO's as needed per business requests.
• Create PO's in Catalyst/JDE for inventoried items (salt, lactic acid, glue, slip sheets, some boxes)
• Manage invoice exceptions in Medius APA for Catalyst PO's. Work with A/P and business units to resolve issues.
• Approve or reassign invoices using Medius.
• Monthly reports to Finance.
• Maintain supplier relations.
• Follow corporate guidelines using preferred suppliers.
• Provide PTO back-up for senior distribution coordinator on order allocations, entered S5/05's, and some inventory adjustments.
• Provide PTO back-up for purchasing supervisor.
• Analyze data to make insightful decisions.
